============================

- Art and culture

Around 450 miners meet in Lößnitz.

The mining parade in Lößnitz is a highlight of the Christmas season. Around 450 miners parade through the festively decorated town in their magnificent uniforms. The impressive spectacle is broadcast live on a 21 m² LED screen so that all visitors can experience the parade in all its glory. The event is accompanied by the sounds of the Lößnitz bronze carillon, which adds a special sparkle to the festive atmosphere. An event that is deeply rooted in the tradition of the Ore Mountains and delights guests from near and far.
