Mountain parade for the candle arch festival
============================================

- Art and culture

The mining parade celebrates the rich mining tradition.

The mining parade is an annual highlight of the Schwibbogenfest in Johanngeorgenstadt and celebrates the region's rich mining tradition. The miners and the figures of the famous candle arch march through the streets to the sound of the mountain band, accompanied by Santa Claus and his entourage. The festive opening of the candle arch festival takes place on the "Miner's Square", accompanied by traditional miners' tunes and marches. An impressive experience in the Ore Mountains!
