Masterful instruments, world-class concerts, and a constant stream of new ideas—since 1978, the Silbermann Days have shaped the region between Freiberg, Dresden, and the Ore Mountains like no other music festival. The Silbermann Days were founded through a unique joint effort by the state and the church. In 1993, the International Gottfried Silbermann Organ Competition was held for the first time. Today, the Silbermann Days have evolved into a renowned organ festival with international appeal. With their deep roots in the region and its history, but also with the courage to embrace innovative formats and cross boundaries, the Silbermann Days build a bridge between tradition and modernity every two years, bringing together generations of music and organ enthusiasts from around the world.

**The next Silbermann Days will take place from September 3 to 12, 2027.**

The **18th International Gottfried Silbermann Competition** will take place as part of the 2027 Silbermann Days.
