description: "On this route, there are many discoveries to be made on historic hillside paths in the nature reserve in the romantic valley of the Wild Weißeritz. From the medieval mining of the town Granaten under Tharandt castle over the romanticism of the spa town \"Bad Tharandt\" to the further construction of the railway line from Tharandt up to Klingenberg–Colmnitz in 1862, via the Tharandt steep ramp, where the contrast between untouched nature and human intervention in technological progress fascinates. The paths bear resonant names of former forestry scientists, a spa romanticism – not only at \"Stille Liebe\". Furthermore, there are testimonies of earlier timber rafting, modern forest science and fish farming, early energy generation by hydropower, and interesting historical train stations under historic preservation. We cross the Holy Way in the footsteps of the romantics to the modern Geopark center of the Geopark \"Saxony Central\" on the path of Saxony's stones."

On this route, there are many discoveries to be made on historic hillside paths in the nature reserve in the romantic valley of the Wild Weißeritz. From the medieval mining of the town Granaten under Tharandt castle over the romanticism of the spa town "Bad Tharandt" to the further construction of the railway line from Tharandt up to Klingenberg–Colmnitz in 1862, via the Tharandt steep ramp, where the contrast between untouched nature and human intervention in technological progress fascinates.

The paths bear resonant names of former forestry scientists, a spa romanticism – not only at "Stille Liebe". Furthermore, there are testimonies of earlier timber rafting, modern forest science and fish farming, early energy generation by hydropower, and interesting historical train stations under historic preservation. We cross the Holy Way in the footsteps of the romantics to the modern Geopark center of the Geopark "Saxony Central" on the path of Saxony's stones.
