The valley slopes become steeper and the valley narrower. Opposite Spitzmühle, the little village of Korna stretches along the mountainside. From here, the route goes up to Arnoldsgrün and along the fields through the forest to Marieney, the birthplace of the poet Julius Mosen and the cartographer Adam Friedrich Zürner. Past the church, the route continues toward Saalig, where you turn left to Wohlbach. Here at the oldest church in the Vogtland, the route leads over Galgenberg hill further on to Gunzen (bike path connection).
