Route (circular hike):

From the hiking car park **Saigerhüttengelände** or Grünthal station you enter the Saigerhüttengelände, which is left through the gate towards Althammer. The path leads to the **border crossing** towards **Brandow** (CZ). Before the first ascent after about 100 m, leave the road and follow the path along the **Flöhaufer**. The path continues on a former railway embankment. A height difference must be overcome at a former bridge. The path leads straight ahead towards Hirschberg. The route leads on the Czech side at the height of Hirschberg towards **Brandow**. Near the **church** of Brandow, we reach the village road. The road leads towards Böhmisch Katharinenberg. At the village exit of Brandow, we leave the road uphill along the forest edge. After about 500 m, our circular route leads towards the **colony or ski lift**. Upon arrival there, we stay towards the colony along the road to the village street. This leads to the border crossing, shortly after which the starting point is reached.
