Next, we reach Schönfeld, the road leads downhill towards the castle. The B 171 is crossed; past the farm pond we turn left into the castle park. Past the crypt of the Schönbergs and the castle pond, we reach Pfaffroda castle with church (Silbermann organ). Further along the Hofgrund towards Dittmannsdorf, the path leads past the glass refinement Dietel to the dam of the Dittmannsdorfer pond. The Freiberg water management system, protected as a technical monument, with its artificial channel system is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Erzgebirge Mining Region. The B171 is crossed again and we reach our starting point.
