Read more Waypoints --------- View on map Start Start Schirgiswalde hiking parking lot - Restaurant - Ice cream parlour - Inn Destination Destination Schirgiswalde hiking parking lot Show more Good to know ------------ Pavements Unknown (5%) Street (47%) Asphalt (39%) Gravel (2%) Trail (7%) Best to visit suitable Depends on weather - Jan - Feb - Mar - Apr - May - Jun - Jul - Aug - Sep - Oct - Nov - Dec Directions Schirgiswalde hiking parking lot at the Gondola pond - cross the bridge – turn right following the Spree bike path to Taubenheim church - cross "Sohlander Straße" there, turn into "Oppacher Weg" – to the entrance of Oppach – along the street "An der Spree" – intersection "Grenzstraße"/"An der Spree", straight ahead towards Neusalza-Spremberg – along "Taubenheimer Weg" – cross the federal road – along "Talstraße" (approx. 11 km) – cross the federal road – Zittau street towards Nieder- and Obermarkt – turn into "Obermarktstraße" – left into "Lindenstraße" – cross the railway bridge – straight ahead towards the leisure pool - before the leisure pool turn left – to the parking lot "Rumburger Straße" – right towards the district Neufriedersdorf/Fichtelschänke – entrance Neufriedersdorf, bike path sign left, then straight – underpass of railway viaduct – towards the castle - right along the park wall – at the height of Friedersdorf castle turn right "Am Pflegeheim" – cross the federal road and straight ahead to Dorfstraße – turn right there to "Wilhelm-Hofmann-Brücke" (km 20) – left into "Dürrhennersdorfer Straße" – to the intersection Schönbach/Ebersbach – continue straight towards Dürrhennersdorf – at the exit of Dürrhennersdorf turn left (connection to Route 4), towards Lawalde (km 27) – towards the community center and straight ahead to the intersection Oppach/Löbau/Kleindehsa – turn left and use the bike path – at the entrance of Lauba leave the bike path and turn left into "Untere Dorfstraße" – change to main road – after approx. 200 m turn right over the Galgenberg to "Neudorfstraße" Cunewalde – cross it – along "Mittelweg" to "Wuischgasse" – cross the main road and into Polenz Park (km 34) – "Schanzenweg", turn right into "Wilhelm-von-Polenz-Straße" – towards the residential area Friedensaue - follow "Czornebohstraße" – past the festival site and pond mill pond, turn into "Neue Sorge" – continue on "Kirchweg", into "Handwerkergasse" – follow "Erlenweg", past the "Kleene Schänke" and the village church, continue to "Schlosskellergasse" – at the restaurant "Deutsches Haus" turn right, use main street for 100 m, turn right into "Reichenstraße" – past Weigsdorf pond and "Zur Rabinke" - turn left onto main street – leave main street at the north slope – past the back of the hotel "Alter Weber" to the old Kölbitz train station – turn left onto the old railway track – up to the railway crossing at the B96 – turn left onto it, before the restaurant "Deutscher Kaiser" turn right into Parkstraße – continue to the nature trail Horken – follow it, turn onto "Bederwitzer Straße" – along "Bederwitzer Straße" to "Bergstraße" to "Wurbiser Straße" , then follow "Schirgiswalder Straße" – along "Niedergasse" – turn left into "Kleinseite" before the Spree bridge – along the forest edge to the hiking parking lot at the Gondola pond.
