21st European Marathon, Görlitz
In addition to the well-known running routes such as the marathon, the half marathon and the 10 km route, the European Marathon Görlitz-Zgorzelec also offers recreational runners a 5 km route. There is a 2 km run especially for the school age groups. Even the youngest runners are catered for with the 400-metre shower run. There are also routes for skaters, handbikers, scooters and unicyclists.

The European Marathon Görlitz - Zgorzelec is organized in accordance with the regulations of the German Athletics Association (DLV).
Bicycle escorts are not permitted, except with the permission of the organizer, and may lead to disqualification of the participant.
For all running and walking distances of 5 km or more, blind or visually impaired athletes may participate with an accompanying runner.Author
