Day 1 in Dresden

State capital of Saxony

Day 3 in Torgau & Leipzig

Torgau

Torgau, the political centre of Reformation, awaits you with different sites related to the Reformation: Hartenfels Castle as residence of the electors, with the famous “Wendelstein” spiral staircase and the first newly built Protestant church building consecrated by Luther, the last residence of Katharina von Bora, the St. Mary’s Church with Katharina von Bora epitaph, and the altarpiece by Lucas Cranach the Elder, as well as beautiful Renaissance houses.
