Wolkenstein cordially invites you to the traditional candle arch festival on the first weekend of Advent. The atmospheric program begins on Friday at 6 pm with the festive ringing in of the Christmas season from the tower of St. Bartholomew's Church. The mayor and the visitors then push the pyramid together, accompanied by the singing of a Christmas carol and the festive sounds of the trombone choir.
On Saturday at 3 p.m., guests can look forward to the cutting of the butter stollen by the master baker from the Eger bakery in Wolkenstein. From 3:15 p.m., the trombone choir and the parish choir will provide a contemplative Christmas program. The evening ends from 6 to 8 pm with live music by Michael & Alexander.
The Wolkenstein associations will provide regional delicacies for the physical well-being and invite you to enjoy the anticipation of Christmas in a convivial atmosphere.
Christmas crafts can be made in the town library on Saturday from 14:00 to 18:00.
The Wolkenstein Castle Museum is open from 10:00 to 16:00.
