Once again, the Moritzburg Christmas Market is taking place at the newly redesigned Markttreff Moritzburg, within sight of the castle.
From December 11 to 13, 2026, vendors from the region invite visitors to enjoy the cozy market atmosphere. A colorful program awaits visitors of all ages at the Moritzburg Christmas Market in the Fairy Tale Tent and on the music stage.

For visitors arriving by car, there are plenty of public parking spaces available in Moritzburg. You can also park on one side of Kalkreuther Straße - from there you can easily reach the Christmas market on foot.
With the Lößnitzgrundbahn
A particularly atmospheric experience is the journey on the historic Lößnitzgrundbahn, affectionately known as the "Lößnitzdackel". With its nostalgic diesel and steam locomotives, it puffs leisurely through the winter landscape to Moritzburg.
