From April to the grape harvest in September, concerts and readings of all kinds take place on the KulturTerrasse Scholz on selected weekends (weather permitting). In good weather, the terrace is also open for drinks without culture. On request, it is possible to book the entire terrace for private events. On all these occasions, we spoil you with simple, fresh dishes and excellent Elbe Valley wines from the Meissen winegrowers' cooperative.

- In dry weather, we are open on Sundays and public holidays (except Ascension Day) or by prior arrangement. The terrace remains closed in temperatures above 35 degrees.

Option I (the more difficult ascent on foot):
Pillnitzer Landstraße in the direction of Pillnitz | past the Künstlerhaus until the next, slight ascent of Pillnitzer Landstraße | turn left into Josef-Herrmann-Str. | follow Josef-Herrmann-Str. follow it to the end (start of the street "am Steinberg"), where you have a direct view of the terraces of the "Königlicher Weinberg" at Wachwitz | the entrance to the hill is right at the end of Josef-Herrmann-Str. | the path to the hill begins behind a small half-height sandstone wall | at the end of the path there is a staircase with 150 steps, called the "Himmelsleiter", which leads directly to the Scholz cultural terrace
Variant II (partly by car, partly on foot:
From Pillnitzer Landstraße, turn into Josef-Herrmann-Str. | then continue straight ahead into Wachwitzer Weinberg street up to the "Königliche Villa" | the entrance to the mountain (Panoramaweg) is located behind the "Königliche Villa" and can be reached via approx. 15 steps | a further 15 steps must then be climbed directly at the KulturTerrasse
