The “Zum Schwerter Bräu” brewery restaurant is the delightful heart of the Schwerter Meißen private brewery, Saxony’s oldest private brewery. In a unique brewery atmosphere, guests experience a slice of authentic Meissen beer culture and can enjoy traditional beer specialties right where they’re brewed.
A special feature of the restaurant is its location right next to the brewery’s brewing kettles. With a little luck, visitors can watch the master brewers at work and gain an authentic insight into the art of craft brewing. Freshly tapped Schwerter beers and hearty dishes from the brewery’s kitchen ensure an enjoyable experience.
The rustic dining room, which seats about 90, and the beer garden also provide the perfect setting for family celebrations, group trips, and social gatherings in a relaxed atmosphere.
