Arrival by car:
Goes is located on the western edge of the Saxon Switzerland, just a few kilometers southeast of Pirna. From Dresden, the town can be reached in about 30 minutes via the A17 and then the B172 or S173 towards Berggießhübel. From Pirna, the S173 leads to the turnoff for Goes, from where it is only a few minutes into the town.
Arrival by train and bus:
The most convenient train journey is to the Pirna train station, which is regularly served by regional and S-Bahn trains (S1 Dresden–Bad Schandau). From Pirna, one can continue by bus towards Dohma or to the vicinity of Goes. Alternatively, one can walk about 10 minutes from the city bus stop in Pirna-Süd to Goes. With prior arrangement, a pickup from the train station in Pirna can be arranged.
