You can also combine a short drive with hiking. This way, you can quickly reach Valtenberg, the Zittau Mountains, the Saxon Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. Demanding cyclists will enjoy the beautiful mountainous landscape of Upper Lusatia: Mountain bikers will find their way through forests and meadows. But the less frequented roads in the vicinity and the well-developed bike paths provide opportunities for a leisurely bike tour. About 3 km away is the Körse-Therme, a spa for relaxation and recovery. For higher demands, the Römerbad at the Hotel "Zum Weber" is right next door. Be sure to visit our ancient district town of Bautzen. You will surely be surprised by the beautifully renovated old town. Upper Lusatia also offers families with children plenty of opportunities to make their vacations exciting and varied. A trip to the Dinosaur Park in Kleinwelka or to the adventure pool "Wasserwelt" in Steinigtwolmsdorf will delight all family members.
