Jugendherberge Klingenthal

In the traditional Vogtland music region, directly on the Aschberg at an altitude of 936 meters, lies the youth hostel Klingenthal. It is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling, and skiing tours through the most forested nature park in Germany, the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park. From the more than 31-meter-high observation tower right next to the youth hostel, you can gaze over the nature park and the adjacent Czech Republic.

The youth hostel features a large outdoor area, including a volleyball court and a football pitch, as well as a campfire and barbecue area, and a pavilion. In winter, there is the possibility to rent cross-country skis and access the Kammloipe directly from there. Nearby, there are numerous attractions, such as the Vogtland Arena, the German Aerospace Museum, and the ski jumping hills.

The house has 136 beds in 32 rooms, including 23 with their own bathroom with shower/WC, and 9 rooms with shared shower/WC.
