This youth hostel lives up to its name: The interior not only colorfully reflects the building's history. Where once the emergency vehicles were parked, today is the dining hall - here hungry guests can quickly slide down the pole directly to food service. And the dishes give good reason for that, as they bear imaginative names like "fiery delights" or "hotspot grill"...

Many other furnishings illustrate this popular theme, especially among children. A slide pole, a hose tower, and original hose washing facilities are ready for active exploration.

This great house is perfectly complemented by its location in the top city of Plauen, which has been awarded the "Get into the City" prize. Just around the corner, there are museums, the city center with numerous shops, the alum mine, or the skate park. In the surrounding area, attractions include the "Sea of Vogtland" - the Pöhl dam, the Vogtland Arena, climbing forests, the dragon cave in Syrau, or the Plohn amusement park.

Young people and the young at heart stay in modern 1 to 4-bed rooms with shower/WC. For families, there are particularly nice family apartments with separate parents' and children's bedrooms as well as their own bathroom with shower/WC.
