Lauterbach Castle is located in Lauterbach, a small village in the Zwickau region. Nestled between the Fichtel Mountains, Vogtland, and the Ore Mountains, the region is perfect for extensive hiking, cycling, or skiing trips. A rich array of cultural and architectural sights can be directly accessed in the surrounding area. Weimar, Leipzig, Meissen, and Dresden are each about an hour's drive away and offer opportunities for day trips. For bathers, we recommend the Leipzig Lake District and numerous small and large bathing lakes in immediate proximity. Carefully uncovered structures from the construction period, complemented by iconic furnishings and contemporary art, create a unique charm. With us, contemporary design and modern comfort meet historical substance.
