The Hostel Villa Lydia is located in the idyllic spa town of Bärenfels in a quiet yet central location. The building re-opened in December 2022 after a partial renovation of the communal areas and offers 3 double rooms with verandas, a twin room, a quadruple room, and a holiday apartment with a light-flooded veranda. The house, built in 1905, has already been lovingly renovated by previous owners and was reopened in 2000 as a bed and breakfast. In 2021, the former holiday apartment was converted into a communal area with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and a lovingly designed lounge area in the large veranda on the east side. The accommodation is ideal for large groups, but especially for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking the charm of a mountain lodge.

Payment is made on site in cash or in advance.
Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged 50% of the total price.
Breakfast is only available on separate request and must be confirmed at least two days before arrival (12€/person/night).
Bringing dogs is only possible upon request. Pet fee is €10.00 per overnight stay.
Check-in from 15:00 to 20:00.
Check-out by 10:00.
The key handover takes place directly in the house.
A tourist tax of €2.10 will be charged separately on site.
Information on included services: bed linen, Wi-Fi, parking, final cleaning.

Public Transport: Müglitztalbahn Dresden-Heidenau-Altenberg with connecting bus line 367 to Bärenfels or bus line 360 from Dresden Central Station to Kipsdorf, transfer to line 367 to Bärenfels or travel directly to Bärenfels with line 360

By Car: from the direction of Dresden on B170 towards Altenberg, turn right at the junction Bärenfels onto the local road Bärenfels. From Chemnitz-Freiberg-Frauenstein to Schmiedeberg and continue on B170 as described above to Bärenfels.
