... from here you discover the World Heritage! In July 2019, it happened - the Mining Region of the Ore Mountains/Krušnohoří was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Three of the 17 Saxon components, with over 25 individual objects, can be found right here in Annaberg-Buchholz. Every Thursday, our tour guide takes you on a walk through the historic old town of Annaberg, which, as a part of the World Heritage, makes the wealth of mining and the history of the town tangible with its sacred buildings, magnificent townhouses, and the late Gothic Hall Church of St. Anne.
