Eintritt Deutsches Stuhlbaumuseum Rabenau

The German Chairmaking Museum of the city of Rabenau is located in the outbuilding of the former castle complex. It is a testament to the old craftsmanship that has been maintained in Rabenau, Germany's oldest chair-making city, for nearly 400 years. The variety of exhibited chairs, the collected historical tools, and woodworking machines is probably unique in Germany. The German Chairmaking Museum includes, in addition to the exhibition on handcrafted chair making, a local collection with interesting exhibits on the history of the city of Rabenau and the nature reserve "Rabenauer Grund".
