Bachfest 2026: Top 50 Bach's best-loved cantatas in 12 concerts
Every year in June, the city of Leipzig honors its important Thomaskantor Johann Sebastian Bach with the Bach Festival. In doing so, it follows a tradition of cultivating Bach that Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy established. In 2026, the Bach Festival will be held under the special motto "In Dialogue": Bach's music is a harmonious dialog of equal voices that can be experienced in many different ways at the Bach Festival.
