Denkmalschmiede Höfgen

The "Denkmalschmiede" (monument forge) is a cultural institution in the area of Leipzig.

An experience for all the senses—that’s what the more than 730-year-old village of Höfgen, nestled in the picturesque Muldental valley near Grimma, is all about. At its heart lies a 17th-century four-sided farmstead that serves as the village’s vibrant cultural hub.

The Denkmalschmiede Höfgen is a historic estate and hotel in the village of the senses, Höfgen near Grimma - just about 30 minutes from Leipzig. The historic farm complex combines unique guest rooms, event spaces, gardens, and orchard meadows into a special venue for weddings, conferences, retreats, and cultural gatherings. In addition to its hotel operations, exhibitions, concerts, and in-house projects at the intersection of culture, craftsmanship, and history shape the establishment’s profile.
