Whether you’re coming face to face with a female tiger or watching the monkeys climb, the Tropical House is home to crocodiles, snakes, and pygmy hippos—and take a look to see who’s hiding among the leaves of the tropical plants! Nearly 1,000 animals call Hoyerswerda Zoo home. Time flies by in an instant.

annually from March 15 to October 31, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
in July and August from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Each week, a family name is selected; people with that name receive free admission.

The whole zoo facility is barrier-free. Main paths with asphalt. Toilet for wheelchair users: Door 86 cm, 165x142 cm in front of toilet, 95 cm from side wall. Special tours for blind guests and people with learning disabilities possible upon consultation.
