Mittelsächsische Theater und Philharmonie gGmbH – Döbeln Theatre
The Döbeln Theatre was opened in 1872. Both theatres are provided with cosy auditoriums which make the performances a very special experience.Symphony concerts of the Central Saxon Philharmonic Orchestra take place in the church Nikolaikirche directly opposite to the theatre. And in summer, there is the "Nikolaikirchen Festival", a fascinating theatre experience in unique atmosphere that is devoted alternately to works of the baroque period and the 20th century.
