Museum Castle Mylau
The castle Mylau in the north of the Vogtland is one of the most imposing medieval castle complexes in Saxony. Once the seat of nobility in the Middle Ages and the early modern age, eventually with bourgeois owners, the castle underwent a transformation in the 19th century into a factory and finally became the Town Hall with tavern and museum.
The permanent exhibition on various topics was established in 2014.

- Due to the conditions in the castle and castle courtyard (coarse cobblestone pavement; 7.5-11% incline), advance reservation is required
- Parking for handicapped people is possible in the courtyard
- Access to the 2nd floor via a stair riser, which is operated by the staff
- In the west wing only the ground floor is accessible without stairs
- Toilet for wheelchair users:
- Access via 2 steps (8-16 cm) or by means of a stepless incline
- Doors 94-106 cm, 130x140 cm in front, 100 cm to the left, 111 cm to the right of toilet, toilet height 54 cm
- Selected exhibits can be touched during guided tours
