Palitzsch Museum
A museum that must be rediscovered is the Heimat- and Palitzsch-Museum in Prohlis. The standing exhibition centers on detailing Prohlis District and Architectural History as well as life in southeast Dresden, plus the biography of the 18th Century Prohlis Astronomer Johann Georg Palitzsch. Connections to the international scholarly world and the beginning and development of our modern sciences are made through the person of Palitzsch.
