Rochlitz Castle
For more than 1,000 years, Schloss Rochlitz Castle has towered majestically on a rock high above the Mulde river, just between Leipzig and Chemnitz. And yet, it houses a state-of-the-art interactive exhibition. At numerous events, history can be experienced up-close.
The castle is today a building of historic importance among the State Palaces, Castles and Gardens of Saxony. It has recently been extensively renovated and is open to visitors as a museum.
