Silberstadt® Freiberg
Silver mining has provided the foundation for the successful development of the silver city since the 12th century. Stately town houses with high attics on the Obermarkt and well-fortified city wall towers still give an idea of the wealth of that time. With a visit to the City and Mining Museum you can immerse yourself in the history of Freiberg.
