The Frohnauer Hammer

Whoever would like to follow the tracks of the once rich silver ore deposits in Annaberg-Buchholz can nowadays visit one of the three visitor mines underground. A cultural monument of ore processing above ground is the Frohnauer Hammer with the original hammer mill technique. The mining and handicraft traditions of the Ore Mountains are a particularly moving experience during the Advent and Christmas season.
