Discover how Vogtland farmers lived and worked from the beginning of the 19th century onwards by means of historical buildings, unique objects and typical animals and plants in our four farms!

The open-air museum also regularly hosts music and daytime events.

The museum offers theme days with show demonstrations, market offers and lectures, as well as music events and much more. Museum educational programs and games such as a museum rally or a memory make the visit to the open-air museum an exciting journey into the past.
  • Child-friendly tables: The title characters Johanne and Johann take the children on an exciting journey through time.
  • Old children's games, memory game, museum rally
  • By appointment: family tours, animal feeding, bread baking and much more.
