After about 20 minutes, many opportunities to rest and interesting figures, you will reach Blockhausen.
Everywhere on the paths to the hut or in the grounds of Blockhausen you will find chainsaw art at its finest.

It is also possible to take the Freiberg railroad to Mulda or Nassau station and hike from there to Blockhausen (approx. 5 km each way/station).
Special events take place on site on various dates throughout the year:
Easter Sunday and Easter Monday; 1 May; Mother's Day; Men's Day; Whitsun; 3 October and 3rd weekend in October
