Definition of cross-country ski trail:

A cross-country ski trail is present when it is recognizable and passable as a path, clearly signposted, and shown on maps. Cross-country ski trails are usually only groomed if there is a very high demand and the operator has the possibility to do so. Visitors have no claim to this.
