Easy ski hiking route in Rehefeld-Zaunhaus, which takes you to the summit "Hemmschuh" of our 14 Eight-thousanders route - the Himalaya of the Eastern Ore Mountains.

The route starts at the end of the natural toboggan run of the Winter World Rehefeld and leads towards or along the German-Czech border. Via Holperbachweg you reach Neu-Rehefeld as well as the destination of this ski hiking trail, the Hemmschuh.

A ski hiking trail is one that is recognizable and passable as a path, clearly signposted and shown in maps. Ski hiking trails are generally only tracked if there is very high demand and the operator has the possibility to do so. Visitors have no entitlement to this.

You can park your car in the car park directly at the entrance to the village.

continuing by bus: line 373 towards Hermsdorf

In the Altenberg holiday region, there is a voluntary trail fee. Those who wish to support the preparation of the trails can pay it at the machines at the trail entrances or at the Tourist Information.

With sufficient snow conditions, you can sled down a natural toboggan run of about 1 km length with a sled.
