You start at the P4 - parking lot at the campsite and proceed towards Großer Galgenteich. You cross Viehtriftweg and follow the trail at the foot of the dam. After approx. 450 m keep right and follow the trail parallel to Neugraben until the junction 3rd dam level. Here turn right. After 150 m immediately right again, then left into Seifenflügel. Follow this towards Pöbelknochen, shortly before this take the left curvy descent. At the intersection Trail L3 (towards Schellerhau) go straight. Then keep right and cross Neugraben. The trail turns left and runs parallel to Rehefelder Straße to the crossing Schneise 31/Rehefelder Str./Evasteig. The trail crosses Schneise 31 and then leads back to Neugraben. At the bridge turn right and follow the trail again below the dam back to the starting point.
The V1 - Evasteig Trail Connector 1 connects the Kahleberg circular trail (L1) with the Osterzgebirge circular trail (L2).
