Around Jöhstadt

The hike begins at the marketplace in Jöhstadt. We walk towards the pharmacy and follow Bärensteiner Straße. At the town exit sign, turn left onto the circular path (marked yellow). After reaching Pleiler Straße, turn right, then shortly after turn right again onto Salzleckenweg. At the state border, turn left onto the ridge path. Passing the border crossing and after crossing the bridge, you reach Dürrenberg after about 1 km. From here, continue up the ridge path to the forest edge, turn left and reach the district of Schlössel. Via Schlössel- and Gründelweg (marked yellow), you reach the youth hostel Raummühle on the right and then the Hotel-Restaurant Heilbrunnen. Shortly before the hotel, the hiking trail branches off to the left; turn right onto Sandweg, cross Torfstraße, then turn left onto Pfefferminzweg and reach the Jöhstadt school country home after about 3 km. Behind the house, the path leads to the wind park, passing by it and back to the market.
