Easy cycling route through shady forests, past imposing rock formations towards Grünbach. From here, the path runs through the valley of the Göltzsch, past the only waterfalls in Vogtland, the Rissfälle, to Hammerbrücke. Via the Muldenberg reservoir, from whose dam you can enjoy a great view, the route continues back to Schöneck.

Along Klingenthaler Straße you head out of town towards Meiler, past the former sawmill and riding stable. At the cross-country ski trail sign you cross the railway bridge and turn onto Muldenbrandweg. The path to Grünbach winds through shady forests which invite you to rest. Via the Musikantensteig path you reach Rehhübel (787m) as well as the rock formations of the Kleine and Große Affenstein and finally arrive at Grünbach. Here, connections to regional bike trails are available. Past the train station the tour leads into the valley of the Weiße Göltzsch, along the Rissfälle, and across the connected Riss bridge you reach Hammerbrücke. Continuing on to Muldenberg and the reservoir, from where the circular route ascends back to Schöneck.
