A few meters after the Tannenhaus turnoff, on the road to Klingenthal, turn left onto the forest path. Past the Neuwaldteich, after a few kilometers you reach the fore-dams of the Muldenberg reservoir. Heading south, follow the Hämmerlingsweg to Kottenheide. After crossing the road, the route leads along the Mühlweg through the forest down to Oberzwota. Here you can enjoy magnificent views into the Zwota valley and over the Vogtland region.
At the crossroads, there are connection options to mountain bike trails of various difficulty levels. Through the romantically wild Wolfsbachtal valley, you finally reach back to the starting point at the Tannenhaus in Schöneck.

Take the A72 to the Plauen East or South exit and then on to Schöneck.
Follow the signs in Schöneck for Parking Garage / Ski World / IFA Holiday Park. Park comfortably in the garage and the bike route can begin.
