The 60 km long circular tour takes you 1,078 meters in altitude past blooming meadows via the towns of Holzhau, Sayda, Seiffen and Neuhausen.

Silver and tin made the Ore Mountains rich. When the yield of the metals ran out, toolmaking and woodcraft ensured the livelihood of the families. Today, the Ore Mountains are a global symbol of exquisite craftsmanship. Loop 3 of the BLOCKLINE takes you to the center of the toy corner. The first stop is Neuhausen, where it is worth visiting the Nutcracker Museum, where you can marvel at over 5,000 figures from all over the world, as well as the world's largest music box, which plays the music from Peter Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite on the hour. In the toy village of Seiffen, it is worth taking a look at one of the many show workshops or the Toy & Open-Air Museum, where you can marvel at the unique handicraft technique of hoop turning. The Wendt & Kühn World in Seiffen also invites you to marvel at the variety of the famous eleven-dot angels and flower children figures. Landscapes and places straight out of a fairy tale add an emotional splash of color to this loop.

Directions

The circuit begins at the start/finish portal in Holzhau. Loop 3 of the Blockline takes you south to Cämmerswalde and past the alluvial pond meadows near Neuhausen. In Neuhausen, you will be greeted by the record-breaking Nutcracker Brothers of impressive size, before continuing on to the toy and Christmas land of Seiffen. Passing the highlights of Seiffen and the Schwartenberg, the route leads through the forests around Frauenbach. On the way to the starting point in Holzhau, we cross the small Salzflüsschen stream. The stream collects water to carry it to the Rauschenbach and later into the Flöha. The damp spring meadows are very species-rich.
