Circular hiking trail Dörnthal - Pfaffroda municipality (For treasure hunters and princesses. Hikes with children)

The tour starts in the parking lot opposite the local history museum and leads towards the oil and brown mills. A short detour to visit the two mills will introduce you to linseed oil production and Ore Mountain traditions. At the "Niedere Schule" junction, head towards the artificial pond. Along the foot of the pond dam, you will reach the dam keeper's house, the nature trail and the artificial ditch system. Numerous information boards provide interesting facts about the flora and fauna. At the end of the pond circuit, cross the road and walk towards Dörnthal. Once you reach the main road
, you will see the fortified church on the right, then turn left and reach the starting point.
