- Behind Villa Wilisch you reach the forest through an iron gate onto the red-marked circular hiking trail towards the Zschopau Valley. You take the railway underpass and walk along Zschopauer Street to the hiking parking lot on the left side towards Scharfenstein. With the green marking, it goes gently uphill over the “Ziegenrück” to the ridge path, then further with the yellow marking and unique views to Scharfenstein Castle with castle tavern. You leave the castle, past the death house of Karl Stülpner with yellow marking towards Grießbach. Steeply uphill, you go through a beech forest to the “Hans Weber Kanzel,” then continue over the viewing rock “Affenstein” back to Villa Wilisch.
