Tour through the city of towers. Climb the towers, count the steps and enjoy great views of the city.

Görlitz is often referred to as the "city of towers". Visit the preserved medieval town towers on a tour. It is always possible to visit all the towers in one day on Tower Day in September. The 360° viewing platform of the town hall tower offers a particularly beautiful view of the town. The town hall tower is not accessible in rainy and frosty weather.
Did you know that the Reichenbach Tower is the most beautiful tower in Görlitz? The tower houses various collections and is part of the Museum of Cultural History. The lower part of the thick tower has a wall thickness of 5.34 meters. The oldest tower in Görlitz is the Nikolaiturm, which is located in the Nikolaivorstadt district.
Below the Vogtshof is the Hotherturm, which was once one of 20 smaller bastions that were part of the city wall and served as a defense against enemies and intruders.

The towers of St. Peter's Church are around 84 meters high. During the church's opening hours, you can climb up to the viewing platform between the towers and enjoy a beautiful view of the Nikolaivorstadt district and the Nikolaifriedhof cemetery.
