Directions
Coming from Ebersbach/Sa. station, walk south along Bahnhofstraße until you reach the boar symbol Eberhardt. From there, the circular route continues eastward. After crossing the "Blue Wonder" bridge, you go through fields and woods over the Schlechteberg hill to the Felsenmühle. At the end of the descent, you will find first signs to the historic Spreeborn spring on Neugersdorfer Straße. This spot invites you to pause and is the most beautiful of the three Spree springs. The boar leads you now along the Hofeweg northwards into the upper village of Ebersbach. Once you have passed the B96, the path runs through a picturesque half-timbered house landscape reflecting the rustic lifestyle of southern Upper Lusatia. If you need a cool-down along the way, you can visit the Ebersbach outdoor pool during the summer months. If you prefer a fresh cup of coffee and a slice of cake, the Coffee Museum with its own coffee roasting facility is just 200 meters further. Afterwards, you reach the Gutberg via small alleys and a field path, from where you can once again view its bigger brother, the Schlechteberg. Heading south, you pass the impressive factors' house "Alte Mangel." From here, the route leads along Georgswalder Straße to the Hainberg, where the eponymous restaurant invites you to enjoy a typical Upper Lusatian meal. After one last short descent, the Ebersbach circular route ends at the starting point on Bahnhofstraße.
