  • 180 m
  • Start: Trail parking lot "Am Hübel"
  • Destination: Skiarena Eibenstock
.

The trail begins at the trail parking lot at the town exit towards Wildenthal / Johanngeorgenstadt and initially runs for about 1 km relatively flat over a meadow landscape up to the edge of the forest. In this meadow area, several loops of the Sonnenloipe Eibenstock can also be used, which is especially attractive for families as there are no major inclines and there is a short route back to the parking lot. From the forest edge, the trail ascends somewhat steeper to the Wintergrün loop junction and then leads slightly uphill to the highest point of the trail after about 3.5 km at the halfway point (862 m). From here, it mostly goes comfortably downhill before reaching the area of the top station of the Skiarena Eibenstock after nearly 7 km. In this area, there is the possibility to warm up and refuel. On the return trip, it again mostly goes somewhat uphill before reaching the highest point once more at the halfway mark.

Those who manage to ski down the slope into the valley (please only on the side) can return to the trail parking lot via the Hüblerweg (about 1 km).
