Elsterperlenweg® – Stage 6

Neumühle/Elster – 100 m country road – turn left and cross the street – 600 m on a marked meadow path to the forest road in Schlötengrund – turn right onto the forest road – 1 km straight ahead, past the Kuhberg quarry – turn right and cross the Schlötenteich stream at the ford – 1.4 km uphill through a hollow path to the forest path junction „Bierweg“ – continue on the „Nasser Weg“ and up to the Weißes Kreuz – after the Weißes Kreuz turn right onto a forest path – 800 m forest path to the first houses „Am Brand“ – turn left – follow EPW markings to the Laagweg junction – turn right and after 50 m turn left again onto a forest trail – follow the forest trail for 300 m – turn right at the forest road – 700 m straight ahead to the Pulverturm – turn right at the Pulverturm – on a hairpin bend 200 m into the Krümmetal – keep right and 150 m to the junction of the country road to Neumühle – cross the street – turn left – on the sidewalk to the north entrance of the Fürstlich Greizer Park – turn right onto the park path – after 50 m turn left – 400 m on the park path past the park lake to the rest area „Rindenhaus“ – at the next fork turn left – after 300 m leave the Fürstlich Greizer Park at the town exit – cross the street – 600 m uphill to the back entrance of the „Obere Schloss“ – 200 m on the outer path around the „Obere Schloss“ – at the end of the path turn right onto the „Schloßberg“ – 100 m downhill – turn right – follow Schloßbergstraße – turn right into Brückenstraße and reach the stage destination at the main entrance to the Fürstlich Greizer Park

Note: The Elsterperlenweg leads through the beautiful Fürstlich Greizer Park. These paths are suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
