Explore mining in Oederan - City of Oederan (Glück Auf! Explore mining history)

Oederan received the privilege of a Free Mining Town 400 years ago. Today, you will find numerous signs along the path that indicate the mining history of the region. In Klein-Erzgebirge, you can visit special exhibitions on this topic before or after a hike. The start of the route is also Klein-Erzgebirge. After the city park, cross Richard-Wagner-Straße and reach the city forest. Via Borntalweg and the former inheritance tunnel "Neuerbaut Oederan" you reach the main hiking trail. Passing Friedenseiche, it leads to Ranis, the highest elevation of Oederan (518 m). Via Görbersdorf you return to Oederan.
