Many information boards accompany the hiker on the way from Eibenstock (640 m/amsl) down to the Große Bockau valley (470 m/amsl) and back up to Sosa (640 m/amsl). The initially paved path becomes an idyllic trail in the forest, runs along a historic water ditch to Saxony's largest waterfall near Blauenthal (halfway). Passing ponds, gardens, a fallow deer enclosure and an enclosed forest spring with a Kneipp basin, a historic mining tunnel is reached and finally at the edge of the forest a magnificent panoramic view of Sosa.

Directions
- From the Tourist Service Center Eibenstock initially via Albertplatz at the edge of town towards the former Clauß Mill on Alten Schneeberger Straße to the first large information board; then downhill out of the town, right across a meadow and along a historic ditch route following the small Steinbächlein through the forest. Soon you reach the Toelleschen Ditch and follow it to the waterfall near Blauenthal. The route then leads steeply uphill via the Zinnsteig, soon passing a fallow deer enclosure, later through the Fröhlichwald with a small Kneipp basin, and offers a magnificent panoramic view of Sosa at the forest edge. The return from the town center goes down the Eibenstock path into the Große Bockau valley at Zimmersacher and then uphill again to Eibenstock.

Unfortunately, due to the dryness of recent years, the waterfall does not always have water (mostly after rainfall).
