This child-friendly hike leads through the dense fairy tale forest

From Spitzgrundteich, go via the ridge path to the mouth of the Rotes Bächle into the Lockwitzbach, further into the gorges of the disused syenite quarry, and over historic bridges on the valley path back to Spitzgrundteich.

Getting there

Access via A4 in Dresden or exit A13 from Berlin direction. From Meißen, follow Dresdner Straße to Coswig.

Public transportation

S-Bahn line 1 runs through Coswig towards Meißen and Dresden. The starting point of the tour can be reached by bus line 400 from Radebeul, 401 from Meißen, and lines 405 and 460 from Coswig station.
