From Bärenstein to the Brettmühle

You start the tour from the upper hiking parking lot at Bärenstein and walk in a north-easterly direction on the white-blue-white marked trail (E3) until the ridge trail marker appears in the valley. Now follow this. The section along the raft trench and the Pöhlbach stream is simply romantic. After the Brettmühlen refreshment stop, you hike uphill towards Kühberg, marked white-yellow-white. In the candle world, a light comes on for everyone. However, you don't pull them out, but continue on, as you still want to climb the Bärenstein. To do this, you take the ridge path in the other direction. The steep ascent! A little climbing aid: the mountain spirit from the Goldkämmerchen on the Bärenstein reveals his secret every 100 years - on the day of your hike? After stopping for refreshments at the mountain hotel, walk a few meters back to the summit cross and continue along the ridge path to the starting point.
